Elementar Americas, Inc., was established in 1998 just outside Philadelphia in Mount Laurel, NJ to serve the region for Elementar Analysensysteme. Elementar Analysensysteme’s roots go back to the Analytical Instrumentation Department of WC Heraeus technology group in Hanau, Germany. This business has been developing and manufacturing analytical instruments for the determination of carbon, nitrogen, sulfur, hydrogen, oxygen and chlorine in all organic and the majority of inorganic substances since 1897. Today the elementargroup is comprised of Elementar Analysensysteme, the German manufacturer of analytical instruments for non-metallic elements, Isoprime, Ltd., the English manufacturer of stable isotope mass spectrometers plus several sales and service companies throughout the world. Elementar Americas, Inc. is one of these sales and service companies responsible for North, Central and South America.
